Effect of unrelaxed residual stresses on bearing capacity of welded joints Nos. 2, 3, 4 of the shell of reactor vessel were studied for specific emergency situation. Coefficients of stress intensity and reference stresses taking in to account unrelaxed residual stresses were determined for cracks, which is stated in zone of welded joints Nos.2, 3, 4 of the shell of reactor vessel according to existing normative documents.
