Specific energy consumption of Hammer crusher were calculated with one-stage and two-stage grinding moist and dried raw materials; were determined that the two-stage grinding moist raw materials including drying as intermediate stage between grindings are the least energy-consuming and the use of certain fractional correlation of small fraction content (x <0,63) - 20-30% in a mixture with larger fraction (5> x> 2 ) reduces specific energy consumption for grinding at 58% (19 kWh / t). This fuel meets the normalized measure of strength and density. Compared to peat briquettes were determined that the use of composite mixture of peat and biomass in equal proportions increase the bend strength at 72%, calorific value at 6% and reduce the ash content at 8-10%. Regimes of pressing various raw materials in native and heat-treated condition were fulfilled; compared to traditional technology of pressing were determined that the use of heat-moist treating of raw materials before pressing allows to get biofuel with a high characteristics of the strength and density by pressure reduced by half (40-50 MPa).
