As world practice shows, obtaining genotypes with a complex of valuable features possible with the help of complex synthetic crosses involving the largest possible number of Vitis species. Genetic determination of valuable attributes and properties are one of a major tasks during creating new selections of grapes and during selection of candidates to the varieries. Analysis of some of the latest achievements in the selection of grapes from around the world shows that thanks to such complex crossings it is possible to obtain genotypes that meet modern breeding instructions.
