In 2014 transferred to the State variety testing in the area of Polissya and Lisostep of Ukraine a new diploid variety of winter rye Serpanok. A valuable feature of this variety is its high regeneration capacity for regrowth after overwintering adverse intensive and productive tillering in autumn. The yield grade of 5.6 t/he with a growing season of 275 days, an 8.5 winter hardiness, plant height 120 cm, resistant to lodging 8.5.
