Worked out lithology-genetic classification of the Cretaceous-Paleogene flysh deposits of Ukrainian Carpathians. It is shown that flysh oil-gas bearingness predefined by the general action of geology-paleooceanographical and geochemical factors. In the history of Carpathian Tethys ocean segment it is distinguished Early-, Late Cretaceous, Paleocene-Eocene and Oligocene-Lower Miocene stages of sedimentogenesis. Character of the distribution of enriched in organic matter shipotska and spasska formations under the Carpathians is found out, argued its possible participating in the processes of hydrocarbons generation. Modeling of buried and thermal maturity of flysh deposits showed that a basic role was here played the processes of Early Miocene overthrusting. Sedimentology-paleooceanographical models for the separate Late Cretaceous ages of the Tethys Black sea segment showed that bank-reef buildings mainly localized within the limits of south side of Karkinite-Northern Crimea depression, within the limits of that oil-gas prospective areas are prognosed. History of post-sedimentation changes and reservoir rocks forming of the Upper Cretaceous in Karkinite-Northern Crimea depression is shown.
