The work purpose - development of the physical principles of alloying of eutectic alloys of ternary Al-Si-Mg system for creation of new high-strength aluminum alloys. In first time at the case the creation of high-strength cast alloys of aluminum it propose to use ternary Al-Si-Mg system with the eutectic quasibinary section between an intermetallic phase and solid solution of aluminum which is strengthened by dispersive particles of Zn and Cu of the containing phases that do not interact with the eutectic colony and are formed by heat treatment. On this basis the composition of new high-strength cast eutectic (a-Al + Mg2Si) alloy with a high level of mechanical (s0.2 = 360-520 MPa; sb = 500-575 MPa и d = 3,3-1,0 %) and casting characteristics due to addition of Zn and Cu is developed. The invention is protected by patents of Ukraine. The works fulfilled in the report frame give a physical basis for creation of high-strength cast eutectic aluminum alloys which are competitive to modern industrial cast alloys. The executed researches and their generalization make the significant contribution to understanding of mechanisms of formation of structure of these alloys in casting process, heat and thermomechanical treatment that allows predicting their mechanical characteristics. The predicted speculation of development of object of research - creation of types of an alloying and the choice of basic systems for development of new high-strength cast aluminum alloys; improvement of methods of the castings production and methods of heat treatment; improvement of structure of alloys by thermomechanical processing.
