Purpose of the work: to increase efficiency of treatment of the infected radiation-induced skin injuries by means of the development of a new method using photodynamic therapy. Methods of investigation and equipment: general clinical, microbiological, instrumental, biochemical, statistical methods. X-ray unit, biological microscopes, spectrophotometer, photoelectric colorimeter, coagulometer were used. Theoretical and practical results: the scheme for effective antibacterial photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been developed on the basis of in vitro experiments which selected optimal physical parameters of light-emitting diode radiation of various wavelengths in wide optical spectrum. In vivo experiments showed that PDT carried out according to the elaborated scheme in rats with infected radiation induced skin injuries favored healing acceleration of these injuries, normalizing hemopoiesis and homeostasis key indicators. Novelty: for the first time in vitro experiments with pathogenic microorganisms (S. aureus, P. аeruginosа) cultures studied antimicrobial effect of PDT components (photosensitizers dimegin, methylene blue and photon non-monochromatic light-emitting diode radiation of various wavelength of optical spectrum) and their combined effect. Optimal physical parameters of light-emitting diode radiation of various wavelength of optical spectrum for antibacterial PDT (wavelength, energetic exposure, time of exposure to light) have been determined considering the decontamination degree. Efficiency of introduction: it has been established experimentally that the developed scheme of antibacterial PDT has a significant positive systemic effect on the rat organism with infected radiation-induced skin injuries, in particular, accelerates their healing. Field of application: radiobiology. Product Description popup.authors Білогурова Л.В. Вінюкова А.А. Васильєв Л.Л. Гертман В.З. Гладкова В.В. Еткало К.М. Коробов А.М. Ляховська Н.В. Маматкулова Т.М.
