The purpose of study: the aim is the improvement the efficiency of complex treatment of patients with edematous breast cancer through the development of tactics of individualization of treatment based on the assessment of molecular-biological markers of tumor. Research methods and equipment: clinical, instrumental, biochemical, electron microscopic, morphological, immunohistochemical, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: receptor-positive tumours among SEBC patients prevailed in 85% of cases. In 77 % the index of aggressiveness of the tumor Ki-67 was higher than 40 %. It is proved that the VEGF level in the serum of SEBC patients in 76 % of cases prior to surgical intervention was significantly increased. It is proven the significance of the local extension process. Recency: new knowledge concerning the relationship of the prevalence of secondary edema of the breast: tumor size, areas of edema and size of the breast are obtained. The effectiveness of the implementation: improving the efficiency of complex therapy of patients with secondary-edematous breast cancer. Scope: oncology.
