Modern situation of population groups to different groups of wildlife, distribution, abundance of species in the ecosystems major natural zones of Ukraine. Were the estimates of the distribution, biotopic distribution and density of populations of many species of reptiles and amphibians. It is proved that by the nature of distribution, habitat type, certain features of life lizard families Lacertidae Ukraine Fauna include the following ecotypes: forest, shrub steppe, semi-desert and mountain. It is shown that the increase of anthropogenic pressure on natural ecosystems leads to the reduction and fragmentation of the habitats of lizards, changes in their distribution. New data on the current state of populations and ecological characteristics of colonial bird species in terms of human transformation of Middle Dnieper ecosystems obtained important data on the current state of breeding settlements, the number and density of colonies of waterbirds and in waters surrounding area of Kiev and Kanev reservoirs. In populations of gray voles South Ukraine analyzed various aspects of formation mechanisms and patterns of morphological diversity in postnatal development and especially its implementation in natural populations of gray voles South of Ukraine. Overview data value species richness and diversity of these insects zoogeographical given their abundance and biomass for succession series: grass steppe, fescue steppe, grass-forb steppe.
