Two new genera, one subgenus and 26 species are described as new for science. Species and generic composition, as well as nomenclature of the studied taxa in the fauna of Ukraine and West Palaearctics are improved (Diptera, Coleoptera and Orthoptera). New diagnostic morphological characters are discovered. Keys to species, genera and sugenera identification are provided (mordellid beetles, argyrestiids and yponomeutid moths, pyrgotid and picture-winged flies), classifications are improved mordellids, picture-winged flies, tephritoid flies), morphoevolutionary characteristics of the Lehr's fields on coleopteran elytra are surveyed. Importance of trophic adaptations for consorive association formation in phytocoenoses of environment is analyzed (phytophagous moths, leafrollers, mordellids). Current conditions of species diversity, harmfulness and economic importance of the phyphages orthopterans, butterflies, aphids, weevils) is examined.
