Methods are implemented in CCUE "Laser Femtosecond Complex" at the Institute of Physics of NAS of Ukraine. The base of the new basic methodology is the Kerr effect - the phenomenon of birefringence induced by electrical component of a powerful light wave. This method of timeresolved spectroscopy with optical kerr gate is one of the most promising research of kinetics of secondary radiation, which provides high temporal resolution, the possibility of spectral-kinetic studies in a wide range of wavelengths, provides relatively ease adjustment and adaptability to the automation of process of measurements. Spectral, temporal and spatial characteristics supercontinuum radiation and physical phenomena that make its essence in solid-state media, including nanostructured materials are studied. In addition, with a view to multiplication and management of secondary beams intensities over time, the scalar diffraction theory for interference in a multibeam scheme is adapted, based on periodic phase structures. The method of making periodic phase modulator is tested, the experimental research in the angular intensity distribution of laser radiation spectra multipliers are carried out. The original system of selfcompression of a femtosecond laser pulse is developed for use in "pump-probe" timeresolved research.
