The purpose of the study - the establishment of physical and chemical laws of the processes occurring in the processing of titanium and molybdenum-containing raw materials and determine their limiting steps. Methods of research - experimental and statistical methods, optical and scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, the study of the process of extraction of molybdenum was performed by using a flow reactor model, potentiometry, spectrophotometry, gravimetric method, X-ray diffraction, mathematical modeling. The kinetic characteristics of individual stages of the processes that occur in the processing of titanium and molybdenum-containing material. Experimentally proved that in the process of grinding changes phase and quantitative composition of ilmenite concentrate. It is shown that the milling ilmenite ore leads to acceleration of its chemical dissolution in sulfuric acid and decrease the degree of utilization of raw materials. It is found that the process of sulfation ilmenite concentrate to be construed as limiting stage with a two-stage chemical reaction. A method for leaching of titanium from natural raw way two stage extraction of titanium from the modified ilmenite with sulfuric acid. Intensification of sulfation achieved by increasing the sulfuric acid concentration, temperature, and specific surface area of the ore material. It is shown that in alkaline processing waste iron-molybdenum catalyst limiting step is the diffusion of ions in the layer of iron hydroxide. A method for extraction of molybdenum, based on a targeted impact on the key factors of optimizing the process steps. The effect of increasing the decomposition of iron molybdate is achieved by using a mixture of sulfuric acid with an excess of sulfate ions. Applications: C 20.59 Manufacture of other chemical products, n. a. a. g., M 72.19 - research and development in other natural sciences and engineering.
