Goal of research - development and design, analysis and improvement of elemental basis, construction of gas-sensing system based on metal oxide nanopowders, it's testing for gas mixtures analysis. Methods of research: experimental methods of optical measurements and analysis. The features of photoluminescent properties of nanopowdered metal oxides (ZnO, TiO2, SnO2, WO3), including laser modified and surface doped by impurities (Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Ni, Cu, Sn) in gases (О2, N2, H2, CO, CO2) have been studied. The nature of nanopowderedmetaloxide gas-sensing properties (adsorption capacity, performance, sensitivity, selectivity) has been established and the design and optimal materials for the construction of the multi-component sensing matrix have been selected. The algorithm and the software for the detection of gas components were developed using the method of spectral analysis of matrix cells luminescence. The sensing capability of the developed gas-sensing system was evaluated and confirmed for gases and their mixtures.
