Research methods: there was developed a methodology for the prevention of suicidal activity in patients with affective disorders on the basis of studies of the mechanisms of subthreshold perception of audio-visual stimuli used in the methods of the subliminal (subconscious) psychodiagnostics and psychocorrection. To determine the threshold of perception of visual stimuli in patients with affective disorders and in healthy individuals there was developed a software and hardware system (based on personal computer).
