An subject of research is the development of synthesis modes of N-alkyl(trifluorjmethyl)sulfonyl-1,4-benzoquinoneimines, the determination of their structure and mechanism of Z,E-isomerisation. The methods of investigation are organic synthesis, NMR 1H and 13C spectroscopy, X-ray, IR-spectroscopy, element analysis, and quantum-chemical calculations. The novelty of this work is the synthesis of new unknown compounds N-alkyl(trifluorjmethyl)sulfonyl-1,4-benzoquinoneimines with different substituent in quinoid ring with help of new synthesis directions. The results of this investigation extends the synthetic possibilities for synthesis of new classes of quinoneimines. For the first time the barriers of Z,E-isomerization were determined and the inversion mechanism of this process was confirmed. That was possible due to use of modern experimental and theoretical methods for the decision of tasks in view of the project with use of new original ideas of authors of the project.
