Methods of research: theoretical study of stress-strain state of metal carried out by finite element method; experimental verification of the reliability degree of determining stress-strain state was carried out based on the method of coordinate grids and method of pins; the main characteristics of steel products quality established by determining mechanical properties, results of ultrasonic testing and metallographic studies. The aim of research: to improve the quality, to expand the range of products, to reduce the cost of finished steel products by the implementation of technological schemes with intensive plastic deformation. Theoretical and practical results: the preconditions specified initial and boundary conditions of deformation in the process with intensive plastic deformation to produce metal of high quality for metallurgical and engineering et al., were developed mathematical models of stress-strain state of the metal, refined laws of technological and design parameters on the stress-strain state, energy-power parameters and quality indicators by the implementation of schemes with intensive plastic deformation for production metal with high quality, adequacy theoretical solutions confirmed the results of experimental studies and industrial testing.
