It is developed the methodology of safety assessment of simulative geological disposal, based on ECOLEGO software, using conservative values for calculation until the time when the effects of radiation are below the established criteria. It is synthesized composite adsorbents based on modified polypropylene and polyacrylnitrile fibers with precipitated ferrohydrite and ferrocyanide of K- Cu and K- Ni and it is performed complex research of Sr and U adsorption from model solutions with composite fibers with precipitated ferrohydrite layer and adsorption of Cs ions from model solutions with high salt content with fibers with precipitated layer of ferrocyanide of K- Cu and K- Ni. On the basis of national bentonite and palygorskite clays, using acrylamide and acrylic acid, it is created and explored new clay-polymer composites for use as barrier materials during emergencies (for active filter barriers, immobilization of toxic and radioactive solutions). It is theoretically shown and experimentally confirmed the possibility of Cs, Sr and activation products (Co, Fe, Mn) from liquid radioactive waste reliable immobilization into matrix of tunnel (hollandite) structure. It is developed devices for determining physical and mechanical properties of solidified radioactive waste forms (cement, glass, glass ceramics, ceramics), which characterize their quality.
