The study covered more than 1,500 people of 13-17 years old. A number of diagnostic techniques such as the objective rapid assessment of media literacy (knowledge component); evaluation of the latest Internet risks related with the perception of information about the war; analysis of perception of media stimuli of patriotic content; "parasocial relationship styles" method were developed. "I - patriot" corrective method, aimed at optimizing of media informative culture and patriotic education of youth by means of media education was developed and tested.. The analysis of variants of school media education model implemented in the national experiment, was conducted; the effectiveness of reflective and creative approach was confirmed.
