The basic steps for obtaining and selection of organisms-producers (plants and microorganisms) of biologically active substances are analyzed as well as their metabolic products and establishing the molecular mechanisms of biological activity and toxicity towards model objects. Nutritional composition of aquatic habitats from natural resources and bred in aquaculture was studied. The results of the study are fundamental by their nature and can be used to summarize the ideas about the linkages of differential supplementation of essential lipophilic compounds. Conclusions and basic aspects of the study are recommended for biochemists, molecular biologists, oncologists, pharmacists, specialists in the developing hepatoprotective and anticancer drugs.
