These materials were used to obtain the nano- and microsized heterostructures with preassigned physico-chemical properties. Some electroanalytical characteristics of the chemically and electrochemically modified semiconductors were researched and new recommendations related to possible utilization of the nano- and microsized modified semiconducting materials as functional materials for the ion and gas sensors were proposed.
