The model is applicable for the subcritical crack propagation in a viscoelastic medium. The proposed model is applied to determine the t-me-dependence of the crack tip coordinates on a wide range of model parameters, including geometric parameters of the problem, the intensity of the external load and the parameters of fracture toughness. A model of crack growth with pre-fracture zones in nonlinear elastic body is developed. On the basis of this model, the prefracture zone configuration near the crack tip and the value of the crack opening are calculated. The recommendations regarding the scope of the models are given to determine the durability and crack resistance of structural elements of the viscoelastic and nonlinear elastic materials.
