By means of selection at 37 0C on industrial maize wort the meiotic segregants from these strains were isolated. Some of them simultaneously are more thermo-, osmolotolerant, produce more ethanol at 37 0C fermentation compared to initial strains and thermotolerant natural isolate Saccharomyces cerevisiae MB Y-5053.
