The dependence of the period and morphology of structures from the laser processing mode (power density and number of laser pulses, the polarization of radiation) has been determined. Conclusions about the physical mechanisms of self-organization during the process of the laser surface structuring have been made from the analysis of obtained dependencies. The excitation of surface plasmon polaritons on formed structures was demonstrated. The effect of surface amplification of the electromagnetic wave field and its influence on Raman scattering has been revealed.
