The subject of the research is the improvement method of educational and training process of athletes of different age and in different sports. The purpose of the work - to ground in theory and in practice the optimization of athletes' preparation in different sports by the improvement of the preparation system and planning of educational and training process. Research method. In order to solve the tasks the scientific methods of theoretical level (theoretical analysis of the problem state according to the literary sources, questionnaire of athletes and couches), methods of empiric level (pedagogical supervision, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, physiology and biochemical methods), methods of mathematically statistical treatment of the results were used. The analysis of scientific and methodical literature was conducted with the help of studying of dissertations, dissertations abstracts, educational and methodical manuals, articles in collections of scientific works , specialized articles in foreign journals in English. In the process of the experiment holding the pedagogical supervision over the course of the training process, competitions, control after the physical loading and functional state of athletes of different sports were conducted. The level of development of physical qualities, technical preparedness and functional state was estimated according to the informative and reliable tests for each of kind of sport. The mathematical statistics method included determination of middle indexes, a standard error, a standard deviation, cross-correlation analysis. The reliability of the researches was determined according to the t- criterion of St'yudent. For the reviewed year on the planned subject the additional analysis of scientific sources is carried out, operative control after the level of different ages athletes' preparedness in team and individual sports is accomplished. Conclusions as to efficiency of the implemented methods, which are directed to the increasing of the quality level of training process of athletes in different sports. Besides, the theoretical analysis of basic research directions in fields of non Olympic sport, management of non Olympic sport in Ukraine at an international level, typology and structuring of classification of non Olympic sports and description of athletes' preparedness is given with taking into account classification of sporting technical and applied kinds of sport.
