Purpose of the research: analysis of the current state of archival affairs and records keeping based on monitoring for sake of preparing the relevant scientifically grounded information to provide information needs of archival institutions and basic directions of their activity. Research methods – general scientific methods: classification; analysis and synthesis; informative; structural-systemic, statistic-analytical, etc. Theoretical and practical results – conducted monitoring and analysis of domestic and foreign information resources on topical issues of standardization in archival affairs and records processes management; regulatory and legal support of electronic records circulation in Ukraine. Prepared two editions of the Bulletin of the Branch Centre for Scientific and Technical Information. Novelty of the research: for the first time was prepared the Bulletin of the Branch Centre for Scientific and Technical Information containing information on topical issues on analytical, abstract, observation, bibliographic information on archival affairs and records processes management, regulatory and legal support of electronic records circulation in Ukraine. The scope: results of the research can be applied in practical, research and methodological work in archival institutions, higher educational establishments and scientific institutes. Implementation efficiency: optimization of information support for the main activities of archival institutions of Ukraine (scientific and technical work, researches in the scope of archival studies and records keeping), application of their results in practice, implementation of national programmes in archival affairs and records keeping.
