Both products meet the Ukrainian standard DSTU BV.2.7-135:2007. Molding emulsion-mineral mixtures (MEMM) based on modified bitumen have higher cohesive strength compared with mixtures based on oxidized bitumen. It is proposed to substitute scarce distillate bitumen for indene-coumarone resin modified bitumen to produce thin layer road coatings from MEMM. Technical specifications for pilot batch of road bitumen used as a component of asphalt-concrete mixtures or bitumen emulsions were developed.
