Aim of investigation: Improvement of diagnosis and prophylaxis of progression of occupational diseases in foundry workers basing on investigation of systemic inflammation and cardiohemodynamics. Methods of investigations: general clinical, immunoessay, dopler-echocardiographic and statistical. Clinico-pathogenical peculiarities of formation and course of chronic occupational pathology of foundry workers were stated. Clinico-instrumental and clinico-laboratory criteria for early diagnosis were revealed for treatment and prophylactic, reabilitation measures. It was stated that work conditions in different occupational groups influence on peculiarities of course of chronic occupational diseases. In foundry workers the influence of aerosol of mostly fibrogenic action the clinical symptomatics is conditioned by character and intensity of pneumosclerosis, changes of pulmonary ventilatory function with restrictive component, hemodynamic disturbances which develop on late stages. In electrowelders due to irritation, sensibilization action of welding aerozol the clinical symptomatics, ventilatory and hemodynamic disturbances are more intensive and form on early stages of development of occupational diseases. Results of the research have been introduces in the practics of work in the clinics of Scientific-Research Institute of Labour Hygiene and Occupational Patholology of Kharkiv National Medical University, and also in according medical establishments in Kharkiv and other regions of the country. Main results of the research totally during all the period were reported on 49 prominent scientific meetings and introduced into the practice of clinical bases of the Department and other medical institutions of the country. Results of the research have been defended with 5 utility patents of Ukraine, published in 83 scientific works. Two novel introductions are in preparation for submission to the Register.
