Study methods: In the research work has been used dialectical and empirical methods, methods of analysis and synthesis, classification method, comparison method, method of terminological analysis, a method of abstraction and statistical methods. Results and novelty: Scientific novelty is the development of methodological approaches form the cost of social services provided to children in difficult circumstances. Practical value: Methodological and methodical approaches can be used for practical calculations of the cost of social services in the "Social centers for families, children and youth" (Centers) for vulnerable categories of children Areas of application: Research findings can be used by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ministry of Social Policy, social centers for families, children and youth (Centers) in the planning and funding allocations for social services.
