Subject of research: methods and mechanisms of preventing corruption in fiscal bodies. Objective: to develop complex of legal, organizational and methodological proposals for identification and assessment of corruption and it's combating. Methods: Analysis, classification, ordering, comparisons, dialectical and formal logic, analogies. Results and novelty: - forms and mechanisms of preventing corruption in fiscal bodies are identified and classified; - on the basis of analysis of data about detection of corruption the proposals for evaluation of corruption of public fiscal service are developed; - the approaches to make a distinction between the prevention of corruption and the fight against corruption are posed; - the international experience of combating against corruption on the both national and supranational level are investigated - the areas of risk in the activity of state fiscal service are identified; - the guidelines for implementation to existing legislation the methods of active checking a person exposed corruption and detection of latent corruption are developed; - the amendments to the Tax Code regarding indirect control methods of the financial condition of officials of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine; - improvement of tax procedures in order to reduce their corruption capacity, in particular - the introduction of automatic VAT refund. The results of scientific research will be used by the State Fiscal Service and National anti-corruption bureau of Ukraine.
