The object of research are social and legal relations connected with the development of an innovative society in Ukraine. The purpose of the theme - the development of a coherent legal theory of becoming an innovative society in Ukraine by analyzing paradigmatic innovative concepts of social development in the Western and domestic researches, systematic review of factors that determine this process and to identify ways to optimize it. Research methods. To achieve the above stated objectives are various methods of scientific cognition. With the dialectical method, namely by using laws, principles and categories of dialectics to be investigated various aspects of becoming an innovative society in Ukraine in their integrity and causal conditionality. Comparative-critical method of analysis of existing approaches to the study of conceptual principles of becoming an innovative society in Ukraine in social and legal context will reveal the advantages and disadvantages of each, and form research methodology, which is based will be responsible communicatively - discursive approach intersubjective direction that will interpreted innovative development in Ukrainian society as a process and the result of the interaction of several institutions and social and legal relations on the basis of value-normative constants and values. Synergetic approach used in ratio to the dialectical method of investigation based on complementarity to analyze parameters of stability and instability of Ukrainian society. The usage of structural and functional method will consider the interaction of the structural elements of innovative society and determine their resistance to various factors influencing them. The form of implementation of the results: research and development, recommendations and opinions performed research work used in the development and expertise of legal texts, monographs, collections of conference proceedings, research papers, draft laws and other regulations, expert opinions; organization of conferences, seminars.
