It was found that addition of tungsten in melt for growth of ZnMoO4 crystals on the level of parts of percent results in the stabilization of the melt, significantly improves the process and increases the yield of the final scintillation elements. Crystals of stoichiometric composition, with excess of MoO3 and with WO3 addition have almost identical scintillation and bolometric characteristics. It is shown that additional purification of molybdenum with recrystallization of the grown specimens significantly improves the level of radioactive purity of ZnMoO4 crystals (to a level <0.005 mBq / kg for 226Ra and 228Th). For the first time Li2MoO4 crystals were developed with deeply refined molybdenum oxide using the low gradient Czochralski method. This method ensures a large yield of crystals (near 80% of the initial loading), that is important for future experiments with expensive isotopically-enriched materials. At the first time the fluorescent properties of Li2MoO4 crystals were investigated at temperature of liquid helium. Product Description popup.authors А.І. Тимошенко Б.М. Кропивянський В.І.
