The aim is to study appropriate types and forms of use of the National Guard of Ukraine and combat and service support of its actions in operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in defense from another state aggression using the "hybrid warfare" forms and methods. In the study were clarified concepts relating to the nature of "hybrid warfare", substantiated the role, types and forms of deployment of the National Guard of Ukraine in the defense of the country. The research methods are: general theoretical and empirical methods based on the principles of military art, the methods of logical, scenario and situational, pseudo-logic simulation, system-structural and system-functional analysis, operations research. The practical significance of the results of the study is the ability to use them: - to improve the regulatory and legal framework; - making decision support to create a group of National Guard of Ukraine to participate in defence operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; - for training and development planning of the National Guard of Ukraine; - for planning of the combat and service support of the National Guard of Ukraine to participate in operations of the Armed Forces in defense of Ukraine.
