The purpose of research - to evaluate the degree of water eutrophication of the northwestern Black sea shelf in 2015 under the influence of anthropogenic pressures and natural factors on the basis of individual and integrated indicators, the scale of development of eutrophication and its effects. Research methods - used the traditional methods and analytical data compilation and statistical analysis, environmental studies NWBS, made the Ukrainian scientific centre of ecology of the sea 2000-2015, involving satellite information, the data of the State hydrometeorological service of Ukraine and the literary sources. Integral assessment of the level of trophicity and water quality were performed according to the index E-TRIX and the BEAST method, developed by the HELCOM EU. The results of the study determined the status and current trends of biogenic substances in the NWBS waters, the decrease in the content of phosphate and total phosphorus and mineral forms of nitrogen. Noted a weak tendency to decrease in the content of chlorophyll-a. On indicators of E-TRIX and the BEAST is defined by the tendency to reduce the nutrient status of coastal waters of the Odessa region in areas remote from point sources of anthropogenic load. The high trophic level of waters saved in the areas of influence of the rivers and primarily of the Danube.
