The purpose of work - assessment of the state of natural recovery of species diversity of macrophytobenthos north-western shelf of the Black Sea, both in coastal, shallow areas and in the open shelf area, the waters of the botanical reserve of national importance "Zernov's Phyllophora Field". The method of research - conducting of field hydrobiological observations and analysis of the available scientific and technical information on natural restoration macrophytobenthos in the environmental conditions of the open sea - the waters of the Phyllophora field and in the coastal zone on the natural substrates (limestone, shell rock) and substrates anthropogenic (concrete traverses, a granite stones). The report contains information about the current state macrophytobenthos researhed areas, its structure and biodiversity, the ability to restoration, responding to eutrophication. Underlined that the recovery of natural marine ecosystems and create conditions for the improvement of their condition can be achieved through integrated or comprehensive management.
