The purpose of the research - the creating of interactive map service "Eutrophication of marine waters of NWBS". Service is available on UkrSCES's web site www.sea.gov.ua. It contains rich scientific, analytical and cartographic materials, and available to users through the latest information technologies. The service provides quick and easy access to scientific information regarding the main problem of marine waters of the northwestern part of the Black Sea - eutrophication. The basis for creation of the service 'Eutrophication of NWBS marine waters" is the DPSIR framework as the best European experience in solving problems of effective environmental management and sustainable development. According to its concept, the structure of the service was organized on the UkrSCES's site during the report period. The Service contains information for each component of the DPSIR, reflects the process of eutrophication of NWBS. Preliminary filling of information blocks of the NWBS state was made. Data for the monitoring studies for NWBS nutrients was included in the mapping system.
