The purpose of the research - the analysis of human potential for the continuation of his work in the retirement age. Research methods - social-hygienic, psychological, physiological, and statistical. It was showed that people aged 60-69 years had highly motivated to work, irrespective of gender and self-rating health. Among non-working pensioners every three would like to get employed again. One-third of men and women chose the position they occupied before the retirement, 22.7% of men and 29.2% of women have preferred profession below their qualifications, the other 45.6% of men and 37.5% of women would agree to do any job. It was found that a significant proportion of the surveyed people was indicator of the functional state of the organism systems that do not meet the age requirements. Determination of residual health of persons older than 60 years, helped to quantify the impact of confounding factors on the state of the functionality of elderly people, and to identify patterns of relationships that are inherent in a particular age group of older people.
