Objective of research: detection of the influence of steric and donor-acceptor properties of S-substituents in the N-alkyl(trifluoromethyl, aryl)sulfonyl-1,4-benzoquinoneimines on their reactivity towards nucleophiles. Research methods: organic synthesis, element analysis, IR, NMR 1Н, 13С spectroscopy, quantum- X-ray analysis. Theoretical and practical results: as a result of these researches the laws of reaction ways were found. That allows predicting the place of entry of various nucleophiles into molecules of sulfonic derivatives of quinoneimines. The potential bioactivity of the synthesized compounds was analyzed. That shown their value for the search for new drugs. The structures of the synthesized compounds were proved by the results of spectral (PMR, IR, NMR 13C) data, the data of elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction. Efficiency of introduction: organic compounds with fluorine-containing substituents are successfully used as drugs, pesticides, dyes and monomers for heat-resistant polymers. Application area: in the general and special courses of organic chemistry in classical universities.
