Subject of investigation - species composition, phytodiversity indicators, indicators of biomass products, structural and functional features of the internal structure of organisms to plants, responses to stressful factors of plant communities and natural and anthropogenically modified landscapes of southern Ukraine. Purpose - to establish the structural and functional characteristics of plants and their communities of organisms in natural and anthropogenically modified landscapes south of Ukraine for the monitoring and protection. Task: - to establish the species composition, dominant, systematic and ecological structure of algal communities of various natural and anthropogenically modified landscapes (steppe, saltmarsh, forest, industrial dumps and tailings) and identify environmental and diagnostic indicators for assessing alhouhrupovan some parameters edaphotopiv. - identify phytomass, yield and permissible load on pasture meadow habitat islands at high levels and some water and develop recommendations on management meadow habitats island of considering the dynamics of biomass. - make an inventory of green space Melitopol and determine the health condition of trees and shrub plantings parkland; - identify and assess the content of heavy metals in the ground cover, woody plants and the role of city soil and litter in the transformation of heavy metals; - set features accumulation of heavy metals in mosses and lichens as phytoindikator; - to analyze the prospects of bulbous flower and ornamental plants in landscaping modern city and pick them for biological growth stimulants; - explore floated on water regime changes anatomical and morphological and physiological parameters of plants; - examine the influence of mutagenic factors on the growth and development of plants in the aster generations of different lines and assess the nature of inheritance of some mutant characteristics. Methods: floral, environmental, physiological, algologically, anatomical and morphological statistics. Scientific novelty of the study is that the data on characteristics of anthropogenic transformation of vegetation at different levels: genome, species and ecosystem proposed indication and diagnostic indicators for assessing some types of anthropogenic influence and determine the stability of ecosystems. The result of research of department faculty are scientific publications in leading professional journals, publications, scientometrics included in the database Scopus, Web of Science and other scientometric databases, foreign publications, training manuals, guidelines, handbooks; participate in conferences at various levels as foreign and international and nationwide, contracts with national institutions, development of project proposals and their implementation; attract students to scientific work of their participation and victories in nationwide competitions of scientific works; involvement of students within the MAN of participation and victories in regional competitions of scientific works MAN; effective work algoekological scientific laboratory studies of terrestrial and aquatic ekosyctem.
