As a result of comparative assessment of different ways of biomass pretreatment the ethanol-based lignin solvent has been created. The chemical composition of wheat straw and corn stalks on the lignin, easy- and hard-hydrolisable substances content was investigated. We have proved the ethanol-based solvent ability to to perform cellulosic biomass delignification with lignin conversion rate 13,7-29,3% depending on the material type.
