Research purpose - to substantiate and create methods of evaluating elastic characteristics of multiphase powder materials subject to starting component properties, production technology and exploitation peculiarities. Research methods - physical modeling of experiment, evaluation of elastic characteristics of materials using static and acoustic methods, statistic methods of data processing. The completed research has made it possible to establish and systematize factors that influence elasticity characteristics of multiphase powder materials using acoustic measurements. The methodology of using acoustic methods for experimental evaluation of coefficients of elasticity for multiphase powder materials has been developed. The methodology is based on adapting the above methods to the features of any specific material with the object of increasing reliability and accuracy of the measured results. The conditions was formulated, wich necessary to achieve high accuracy and self-descriptiveness of the values of dynamic elastic characteristics with powder material. The developments that have been approved and are being prepared for approbation in the production conditions have been performed.
