The work objectives are to create and improve methodical and information support for analyzing the effectiveness of space systems and research space projects and developing space programs, to establish prospects for Ukraine's space industry. The methods of the space flight mechanics, simulation, statistical methods of mathematical modeling, operation studies are used. The results obtained: methodical support for an initial stage of the design of products of rocket and space technology equipped with liquid/solid propulsion systems, optimization of the main design parameters and estimation of the effectiveness of the launch vehicle under design is developed; methods of structural and parametric identification and criteria of structural identification for improving prediction of conditions of dynamic technical systems under the structural and parametric uncertainty are developed; methods of systems analysis of the development of complex systems and control of complex systems are developed using the paradigm of limited generalizations for optimizing power and information characteristics of digital information space communication systems; information and analytical support for studying innovative lines for satellite systems, spacecraft and space transportation systems is created; recommendations for creating methodical and program support for calculating technical and economical indices of research and development works on the development new prototypes of rocket and space technology are made considering the risk factors; the world's trends of space activities, space transportation systems, innovative communication systems and Earth remote observation are established.
