The research goal is to develop methods for improving the structural member life using excitation of self-organizational processes in combined energetic loading. The research methods are those of probabilities theory, synergetics, failure mechanics, reliability theory. The results obtained. Based on the probability approach to failure, a model for predicting the time to failure of structural materials in creep and mathematical models of structural material life in creep are developed considering dissipation mechanisms initiated in structural materials resulted in non-equilibrium. The stochastic model built of a long life has good agreement with the experimental data both on the time to failure and on standard deviation for samples from the 12X18H10T corrosion-resistant steel in high-temperature creep. Experimental investigations in a significant improvement of life indices of structural materials with provision for a continuous energy flow in the action of strains, heat treatment (induction, electric stimulating, convection treatments) and high-frequency oscillation are carried out. The effects of an intermediate energetic treatment in creep of samples from the AMg6M alloy on the mechanical characteristics and evolution of the material microstructure are studied. It is found that a combined energetic treatment with tensile and compressive loads in the heat field following by an impact ultrasonic treatment increases the time to failure of samples from the AMg6M alloy and indices of the short material life ( yield point and ultimate strength) in simultaneous lowering the specific work of failure. The use of the method of fast material cooling (including cryogenic temperatures) after high-temperature heat to improve indices of the strength and life of the AMg6 alloy is validated.
