The effectiveness of their use in furnaces of bubbling slag lining has been evaluated.Design of the two-zone furnace bubbling melting bath has been developed. One zone is heated with submerged burners and has water-cooled walls covered skull. Melting of the mixture occurs in it. The second zone is designed to bring the melt temperature to the technological desired value. It is heated by the burners installed above the melt and it is made of high quality refractories.
