The use in the treatment of these diseases probiotics allows to increase the effectiveness of their treatment up to 30-49% (increase in visual acuity, visual function recovery) and to accelerate the disappearance of the inflammatory process up to 3.15 days. New, environmentally safe, effective treatments for patients with inflammatory eye diseases have been introduced in practical health care. Immunological and biochemical criteria can be used to assess the diseases severity and their therapy effectiveness have been developed.
