The purpose of the work is mastering of improved production technology of dry corundum mix. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones. Taking into attention the results of researches, which had been carried out (report about research works № 4.1-198-2013 and № 4.1-399-2014), in PJSC "The URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the improved production technology of dry corundum mix with high alumina cement grade of "ВГЦ-73" and fine milling alumina grade of "ГК-1" additions, whose interaction at high temperature treatment allows formation of reactionary sintered calcium hexaluminate and, as consequence, increasing of samples strength and their resistance to melting sour slag, has been mastered. The indicated mix was intended for tests in the lining of induction crucible furnace of "Ukrainian industrial company" Co Ltd (Kharkov). The disadvantages at exploitation of dry corundum mix grade of "СКА" with addition of calcium aluminate material haven't been observed. In PJSC "The URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the pilot batches of mullite corundum ramming mix, dry corundum and corundum spinel mixes, mullite corundum mortar, which are intended to metallurgical and machinebuilding plants of Ukraine, have been produced.
