Aim-to evaluate the diagnostic relevance of DNA precursors metabolism enzyme activity in blood serum and tissue of oncological patients for capability of drug therapy individualization in patients with stomach cancer. Methods of research - the oncological patients blood serum and tissue has been examined before and after initial surgical resection and then after chemotherapy thymidine phocphorylase isoenzyme and adenosindesaminase activity were determined spectrofotometrically.Statistical analysis of research was performed using Medstat and Statistica 5,5" (StatSoft software package.On significance of differences was analyzed by parametric and nonparametric methods.The first chapter describes the methods of biomedical engineering and the relationship between parameters was assessed statistically using Spearmans rank correlation test. In the second part a comparative study of enzyme activity of thymidine phocphorylase and adenosinedeaminase in blood serum and tissue of different age healthy individuals.The third chapter analyzes of both enzyme activity in the tissue and blood serum of patients with stomach cancer. The blood serum is the most available material for patients monitoring. In the fourth section the use of enzyme activity as test system for efficacy of oncologycal patients chemotherapy treatment.
