The influence of geometrical and electrical parameters of the dielectric resonant structures based on thin DR on their frequency characteristics are investigated. It is shown that conventional semiconductor structures, such as p-i-n diodes exhibit microwave dielectric properties and can be used in the millimeter wavelength range as the resonant elements. The designs of filters and phase shifters of the centimeter and millimeter wavelengths based on thin DR are proposed. The computer simulation and dielectric parameters calculation of all listed above objects are performed.
