The purpose of the project - establishment of laws of evolution of structure and changes in physical and mechanical properties of polymers of different structure under severe plastic deformation depending on the nature of the initial structural state that is specified by the layered blending melt (FDM-process), to create a new technology of products functional or structural purposes. Research methods - mathematical modeling, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis, hydrostatic weighing, test toughness, microindentation. First proposed and implemented a new way of obtaining structurally modified polymers and polymer hybrid composites (including those based on polymers incompatible thermodynamics), based on a combination of FDM-process and equal-channel multi-angular extrusion (ECMAE). The differences in the properties of polymer samples obtained FDM-process, depending on the direction of stacking layers melt. It is shown that provides ECMAE improve their physical and mechanical characteristics. The physical model that describes the behavior of the laminates under ECMAE to explain the observed changes in their mechanical properties. The research results will further develop the scientific basis of promising technologies for functional and structural materials with controlled molecular orientation, morphology and size structural elements.
