The direct conversion of heat into electricity are priority in this area. In this project we accent attention on comprehensive study of new thermoelectric materials based on quantum-size structures on the base of compounds Pb(Sn)-Ag-Sb-Te (LAST). The main studied parameters, which determine the possibility of practical use of materials in thermoelectric energy converters are dependences of the Seebeck coefficient (S), specific electrical conductivity (?), and coefficient of thermal conductivity (?) due to chemical composition, condition for obtaining and external factors as for bulk samples such as quantum-size structures deposited in amorphous or crystalline substrates. It is possible to improve thermoelectric efficiency in these samples by oscillatory behavior of electrical parameters nanostructures by varying the thickness of this quantum structure. The established optimal conditions of semiconductor materials based on compounds Pb(Sn)-Ag-Sb-Te (LAST) receiving provide the possibility of create the thermoelectric elements for microgenerators with high performance.
