Temperature and concentration dependences of the volume compressibility and Gruneisen parameter were also investigated for these compounds, which are perspective materials for application in piezoelectric and acoustic devices. According to dielectric, ultrasound and hypersound investigations, the change of phase transition character from continuous to the first order one by increasing of lead concentrations was established. It was shown that (PbySn1-y)2P2S6 solid solutions are disordered ferroelectric system that can be described in a Blume-Emery-Griffiths model with a random field. Cu6PS5I and Cu7PS6 superionic conductors were synthesized. They have been obtained as a single crystal, poly- and nanocrystalline forms. Ceramic samples have been prepared and their parameters were investigated. The structural, electric and dielectric properties of Cu6PS5I and Cu7PS6 superionic crystals and ceramics have been investigated. The influence of size effect, caused by decrease of crystallite dimensions, on structural parameters, electric conductivity and dielectric permittivity of the investigated materials have been studied.
